Our holiday here at seashells was all we hoped for and much, much more. The house was immaculate when we arrived and the lounge was stunning with the light and the views of the sea .Amazing. It's a wonderful base from which to explore the island and so good to come back to. We loved it so much we have booked to return next year, which will be something to look forward to through the long winter months. Thank you Annabelle for all your attention to detail, including the welcome pack and the flowers and we will see you next year Nigel and Deborah and Poppy x

Dear Annabelle, Year 1 in this lovely place and will not be the last. All the personal touches did not go unnoticed, Dottie loved her ball and Dylan his bear x The location is amazing and only 9 people on a beach! So private. Dear Annabelle from the moment we walked in, everything was just 'WOW'. The house is absolutely stunning and the view is just exceptional. We were a family of 6,3 generations, ranging in ages from 11 to 70. Ideas for days out and our itinerary. Sunday Model Village Godshill and Donkey Sanctuary Monday Osborne House Tuesday Needles (chair lift, jet boat-best part of the holiday!) Wednesday steam train/Sandown beach Thursday Robin Hill/Shanklin Beach Friday Adrenaline Zone, Garlic Farm (great lunch!) Annabelle you were an amazing host nothing was too much to ask and everything has been so well thought out. None of us want to leave and if we ever come back to the Isle of Wight this house will be top of our list. Thanks again for everything PS Adrenaline Zone- you may need to book ahead as all the tickets were sold out when we originally went on the Thursday. Restaurants-we found Shanklin everything opened later than in Ventnor. We ate at spyglass Ventnor seafront-queue was very long but worth the wait Crave ice cream Ventnor-so many flavours to try!

Dear Annabelle, What can we say, I am so glad I found you online while looking for a house on the Isle of Wight. The whole process from booking , to checking, to leaving was seamless . We have never stayed in such a charming, beautiful home , pure perfection for our group of five. We have loved every single moment. Some other ideas for days out. Saturday -Lunch at The Garlic Farm, dinner at The Basque Kitchen, Ventnor. Tuesday -Lunch at The Hut and a trip to The Needles Wednesday- Diner at The Smoking Lobster, Ventnor Thursday The Stripped Brasserie, Ventnor Friday -Dinner at The Buddle Inn We will most definitely be back, next time bringing our little dog. What a find! We have loved our time in this beautiful holiday home with its incredible views of the sea in all its moods and of the skies and cloud formations. The excitement of spotting pretty lizards in the garden was topped only by our sighting of dolphins leaping out at sea while we were eating our breakfast! Then on our last evening here, a full double rainbow appeared over the sea-just magical! The quality and standard of the accommodation, housekeeping and cleanliness at Seashells is second to none and contributed so much to the enjoyment of the holiday. Our thanks to you Annabelle for working so hard to make sure that everything was perfect for our stay.We have appreciated all of your efforts. Our thanks too for the beautiful flowers and treats you provided. We have enjoyed the walks by the sea, swimming and travelling further afield to soak up the history of the island. Sea Shells by the Beach is an absolutely amazing place to spend a seaside holiday. A perfect location right on the seashore with a stunning view from the main living area- it took my breath away every time I walked in. The accommodation was beautifully appointed and perfectly clean and maintained and absolutely everything you might need,was provided. There were extra special touches such as a welcome cake and chocolates and wine as well as fresh flowers in every room. The host, Annabelle was incredibly kind and attentive and nothing was too much trouble and she responded to queries very quickly. Truly there could be no better place for rest, seaside adventures, lovely walks and relaxation

We have had the most amazing week here. The house has been wonderful, we have not wanted for anything. The little finishing touches ,such as the flowers, make it feel like home. Cannot fault the cleaniness. Annabelle has been amazing -nothing too much trouble. We would certainly recommend to friends. Thank you Carol and Glen

We were overwhelmed by the view from the sitting room when we arrived. Things got better and better as we explored. Loving the flowers and the bird ornaments and the colour schemes. Everything provided- even clingfilm-and a kind welcome pack. The kitchen is so well equipped and easy to use. Our dogs loved the walks and the beaches. We sat every evening tracking the shipping and enjoying the gentle twinkling lights. A perfect place to refresh our minds and our appetites and to reminisce on past happenings. Upon arrival we found a beautiful, immaculate and fully equipped holiday home in a stunning location. I booked through the agency but the cottage was so much nicer in real life than on the photographs! Our family has specific requirements and I was able to have direct contact with Annabelle from and early stage, after booking. She was so helpful and responsive to our individual needs and we were very grateful for her help, both before and during our stay. We shall miss the sounds of the sea, especially at night!
