A perfect spot to be, everything to hand and what an eye for detail that Annabelle has. The flowers were lovely and absolutely everything that we could need. We will return again and will tell everything to everyone we know , what a fab time we had. Eddie had a lovely time as well.

We have had an absolutely idyllic week in this magical place. We had plans to explore the island but the cottage was so lovely we hardly wanted to stray beyond Ventnor beach and Sybil loved hunting for crabs on Monk's Bay. Annabelle was a wonderful host and we feel incredibly lucky to have ended our summer holiday here-thank you so much! Emily B

The most beautiful house with such a wonderful view of the sea. Super clean and really well equipped with everything we needed and delightful extras, fresh roses,charming battery candle for gentle bedroom light and lots of pretty little lights inside and out. Loved the magical entrance to the house and it just kept unfolding! What a beautiful place. Amazing view out to sea which just allowed us to all relax. We will miss it as we all go back to our busy working schedules. You have thought of everything and we have no suggestions for improvement. Thank you for a wonderful week

Another wonderful stay at Seashells. The weather was very mixed but watching the stormy sea from the comfort of the daybeds was no issue! Great visits to The Botanical Gardens, a family surf lesson at Compton and a wonderful lunch at The George in Yarmouth. Shanti loved her walks on the beach and the wifi kept the teenagers amused. We loved it here it is so quiet and peaceful. We had everything we needed and it is very clean. All of us loved the location.We liked the sea view. The sofas are very comfy as well as all the beds. We have just had a fabulous stay at Seashells and couldn't imagine a more idyllic spot! We were very lucky with the weather and spent most of our time lounging around in deckchairs instead of exploring! We did visit Osborne House and the Botanic Gardens, both of which, although quite expensive to get in, were well worth it. It's time to go home now but we very much hope to be back again one day! Thank you Annabelle for providing such comfort! Bette,Kathleen,Gillian,Nick,Holly,Ben and Becky the pooch. PS.Bette says " I lived by the sea in E. This is one of the best holiday cottages we have ever stayed in 5 stars. The property is spotless and the decor and the view are to die for, everything is there that you would need for your holiday. So relaxing. Our host Annabelle was amazing and nothing is too much trouble. Once you've stayed here you will never ever want to go anywhere else. Thank you for another amazing holiday.

Well what can I say! Once you have stayed at Sea Shells by the Beach you will never ever want to go anywhere else. I can't recommend this property enough,its decor is beautiful, spotless,fully equipped with everything you need during your stay and the views over the sea are amazing ,it is so relaxing. It is in a beautiful little village called Bonchurch. Such a quiet,totally relaxing place,the cottage has a beautiful private garden overlooking the sea,what more could you dream of? An amazing host Annabelle ,who nothing was too much trouble for. Thank you for making our stay so special, we all really enjoyed ourselves. It is definitely 5 star for us. See you next year for another slice of paradise.

SEA SHELLS BY THE BEACH. Some years ago when walking on the coast path from Ventnor to Bonchurch,we came upon intriguing steps going up to a gate leading into a hidden garden. The thought of living there was beguiling, so we were delighted to find a box of leaflets saying that the place was available as a holiday let. The leaflet stayed in a desk drawer for several years but thinking of somewhere in England to go this year, it was found and a booking made with the charming Annabelle. What a gem! Annabelle has created the ideal beach cottage, superbly comfortable,pristine and as well equipped as you could wish. The only sound is the sea and one can stretch out on a long chair in total privacy, though able to watch the ships passing by. Annabelle takes infinite trouble to ensure her guests have everything they need and have a wonderful time. We have already booked another week later in the year. Christopher and Gail.

Another amazing stay at Sea Shells by the Beach. Such a beautiful location, you can always guarantee a relaxing stay! A visit to The Seapot (Wheeler's Bay), Bonchurch Inn and Taverners (Godshill) is thoroughly worthwhile for delicious food and all are very welcoming (including dogs). We had the most amazing family holiday in this beautiful cottage. Sea Shells is very clean and the personal touches from Annabelle have made this holiday extra special with a lovely cake,chocs and fresh cut flowers. Sea Shells is by far the best holiday home we have stayed in. The only downside is we have to go home but we will definitely be back next summer.Thank you Annabelle. Emma, Chris, Maria and kiddies xx

What an awesome holiday home this is...a true hidden gem! So beautiful and comfortable, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything anyone could ever wish for...clearly wonderful care and attention has been paid to every detail! We have soaked up the fabulous and ever changing panoramic sea view from the wall to wall glazed doors of the lounge and garden beyond and how wonderful to have had the benefit of the sun in the private garden all day too.Privacy and sunshine are a real feature as the view is so gorgeous too! Loved using our binoculars to zoom in on all the passing ships, dolphins and Eric the sea lion! It felt so private being raised up from the esplanade-so wonderful in fact we were not motivated to venture far afield! That said,we loved strolling the esplanade to Ventnor and enjoyed several more challenging walks along coastal paths and steps. It's absolutely worth walking a little beyond Ventnor to Steephill Cove-gorgeous but inaccessible by car. We totally recommend Sea Shells by the Beach for a wonderfully luxurious and relaxing get away from it all. Thank you so much Annabelle for being such an amazing hostess-we thoroughly enjoyed our stay...and Largo absolutely loved his holiday !!! xxx

We have had the best stay in Seashells by the beach. The cottage is spectacular and so homely.The views are incredible and so relaxing. The home has everything you need for a perfect holiday. The cottage has everything you could need and is lovely and clean.
It works really well with small children who have enjoyed playing in the big bright sociable space whilst we have enjoyed the ever changing views.

Blackgang Chine (expect playgrounds more than rides and go early in your stay so you can return for free within 7 days which means the price is more reasonable)
