Very exciting news has been that following my first inspection and grading by Visit England, the cottage received a 5 star GOLD grading!!!!

We have had a truly wonderful week in Bonchurch. Our first impressions of Sea Shells by the Beach were all favourable. The house was spotless and beautifully decorated. The flowers were lovely. All in all we had a great welcome. Annabelle , you are such a great hostess. We have been trying to explain to friends and family that the house really is on the beach, just the sea defences between us and the sea. Mid-March turned out to be glorious for weather and we have been able to take full advantage of overlooking the sea from the private garden. For meals out The Best Dressed Crab in Bembridge was a real find.We had two fine meals at The Steamer Inn in Shanklin and for a room with a view on Mother's Day, lunch at the George Hotel ,Yarmouth, did not disappoint. We had good explores including to The Garlic Farm, just outside Newchurch.Hope readers enjoy their time at Sea Shells. Michael and family
