Dear Annabelle,
Thank you for the way you went about setting up Sea Shells for our family Christmas. You put in so much time and effort to make the place look homely and comfortable. We had a wonderful time on the Island. We went for a walk round St Catherine's Lighthouse and another through downland near Arreton. Outstanding views on both. My wife and daughters were mad enough to join the people of Ventnor for the dip in the sea in support of the local charity on Boxing Day. The town was packed and the atmosphere was very friendly.
They were reassured by the knowledge they had a beautiful, warm and inviting cottage to come back to to warm up again. It made our stay such a memorable one.

We have just spent a wonderful Christmas at Seashells by the Beach. The setting is wonderful and the property itself is very well equipped. There were six adults in the property and the large living room area comfortably accommodated everyone. The beds are comfortable and the bedrooms are charming. There is lots of storage space even over Christmas when people were hiding presents! We cooked our Christmas lunch without any difficulty, there is a large cooker and a big fridge. A lot of attention has been paid to the decor and the owner made us feel very welcome. We would love to come again and would not hesitate to recommend it.

Dearest Annabelle, thank you so much for letting us stay in your wonderful home. We have had such a lovely time and the weather has been so good to us this week that all in all we do not want to leave. It has been such a pleasure to stay here, from the lovely welcome you gave us when we arrived, the delicious chocolate cake, the cosy beds, the outstanding views and the beautiful décor. Each day, we would go out and explore but we just loved coming back to relax in your home and garden and listen to the waves. Thank you for everything and hope to stay with you again. AUGUST 2015
WOW!!! We have had the most amazing week staying here at “Sea Shells by the Beach”. Everything was just perfect from the beautiful décor to the stunning views. The surrounding walks are lovely from climbing Devils Chimney to strolling into Ventnor. Even taking a dip in the sea was very refreshing!! We are very sad to be leaving but will definitely come back and stay again one day. Thank you for the perfect holiday.

JULY 2015 This is our 2nd visit to Sea Shells, absolutely love it, and have rebooked again for next year. Had great fun this week watching crashing waves, then calm seas and have been enthralled by the moonlight on the water. Accommodation, and warm welcome just perfect. Thank you Annabelle for another fab week, your good humour and the thought you put into making this week special for us. See you in October! xxx
P.S. Chris and Louise braved the sea for a lovely swim --> apparently its ok once you’re in!

We have thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at ‘Seashells By The Beach’. The cottage is fabulous, beautiful views, beautifully furnished with every item you could ever need. (In fact I will be taking home a list of some of the ones I love!! Thanks for the style tips!!)
We were greeted by Annabelle, a lovely, friendly lady who seemed genuinely concerned as to whether we were having a nice time, which we were (despite the weather!) The lovely carrot cake was delicious – thank you!
Thank you Annabelle for letting us have this smashing cottage for a week. As I said to you we love the Isle of Wight, and I cannot imagine staying anywhere else in the future. ‘A gem of a place with a gem of an owner too!’
We will be back

Another beautiful holiday here in Bonchurch – THANK YOU. You have, once again, thought of everything and been so very kind and welcoming. Everything is just as beautiful as we remembered it and all of us took a sharp intake of breath when we came into the living space, at this best of seaviews and the best seaside stroll to Ventnor!
Three generations of Pitman’s can now give the official seal of approval!! And a 30th wedding (pearl) anniversary celebrated in the perfect spot… truly a ‘pearl’ of great price here! A haven and sanctuary of peace and simple pleasures.

Thank you for making our first family holiday in the IOW so wonderful. From the moment we arrived at the house, everything was perfect . A wonderfully warm welcome and every little touch was thought about. Home from home but with a much more spectacular view! Baby Oscar enjoyed his visit so much , he crawled for the very first time in the lounge , a memory we will always cherish.
We will be very sad to leave but very much looking forward to coming back! Thank you

This is a really fantastic holiday cottage with amazing sea views. Cup cakes and a treat for the dog on arrival set the tone - Annabelle really is a thoughtful, welcoming host. Such a lot of care has gone into the decor and facilities. We can't wait to go again!

We have had quite the most wonderful week at this amazing holiday retreat here at Sea Shells by the Beach.
Honestly the property is the very best we have ever stayed in. The rooms are ALL beautiful in every way and the view is stunning.
Nothing has been forgotton either,not to mention the fabulous touches of the Christmas cheer, the chocolate coins on the tree, the pink fizz for New Year and the super chocolate cake.
Thank you for allowing us to bring our dog and my very elderly cat, Mini ,who has progressively looked better and better as the week went on.
Thank you Annabelle. We WILL be back.

Sea Shells by the Beach is the most beautiful holiday let I have ever visited. The location is spectacular with the most amazing sea view from the living room and kitchen. Perfect in all weathers - you can enjoy the sunshine in summer or enjoy the wild seas from the comfort of the sofa in winter. Ventnor, with it's shops and little restaurants, is a short walk along the sea wall. There is a fantastic fishmonger on the seafront where you can buy fresh crab, lobster, mussels, and fish - we even bought fish straight off the boat. The house is immaculate. The furnishings, linen, towels, kitchen equipment, crockery, EVERYTHING is of high quality and scrupulously clean. So much thought has gone into every aspect of this house. Meticulous attention to detail is evident in every area. Annabelle, the owner, is welcoming and attentive. Nothing is too much trouble for her. She showed enormous kindness to my son, so much so, he didn't want to leave! It's difficult to write this entry without sounding over-complimentary, but both Annabelle and Sea Shells are faultless. Annabelle has worked so hard to create a special and unique holiday home. It is rare to find an owner with such commitment to ensure every need is met. I cannot think of one negative. We will definitely return. I cannot recommend enough.
