Very exciting news has been that following my first inspection and grading by Visit England, the cottage received a 5 star GOLD grading!!!!

APRIL 2017 Thank you for a warm welcome, lovely flat and the cake! We have had a great time here enjoying sitting in the garden listening to and watching the sea as well as all the fantastic places we have found for the first time, such as Steephill Cove and our favourites revisited. The flat is very comfortable and a great place to stay. Thank you again - Alicia, Paul, Jill and Mike and the dogs!

MAY 2017 Thank you Annabelle for a lovely relaxing week in your beautiful cottage, we have loved the wonderful sea view (the girls haven't had the tv on all week!) Everything was perfect - the best equipped and most comfortable holiday home we have ever stayed in. The yummy chocolate cake and lovely flowers were a very nice touch much appreciated. None of us want to go home and would love to come back again maybe next year. Thank you Annabelle for your hard work in making the cottage perfect. MAY 2017 Thank you for an amazing stay at Sea Shells by the Beach, a beautiful place to stay and relax. It's been lovely just seeing the the sea and the waves crashing in. We were even able to enjoy breakfast outside due to the lovely weather and take advantage of the deckchairs with a cheeky snooze in the afternoon. The cottage is so well equipped and very comfortable and spacious even with four adults, a four year old and a dog! Thanks for a great stay Bev, Paul, Amy, Jean, Ralph and Lucy the dog.

APRIL 2017 What a wonderful place! We have been in a number of holiday homes over the years in the IOW and this is one of the best. Sitting outside by the sea having breakfast was an absolute joy. We also appreciated all the "little things" like flowers in our rooms, Easter eggs, the delicious Easter cake and everywhere the theme is "sea and shells" from pictures on the walls and "little things" hanging from door handles! It's no wonder you won a 5 star award - we would have given 6! We had a most enjoyable family holiday and look forward to coming again. Carolyn and Peter, Denise and David.

December 2016 Thank you Annabelle for giving us AN AMAZING CHRISTMAS !!! This is our second visit and everything is as special as the first visit. The festive decorations were so nice and added that extra touch that was really special. Many thanks Mark and Shelley Vine Happy New Year to All

DEC 2016 We had a amazing time @ Sea Shell Beach. Annabelle is a lovely lady. Enjoyed ourselves. Apartment was very clean and it had personal touch to it. Loved the cleanliness to it and its fresh atmosphere. The view is amazing, its very relaxing place from time out life. Thank you for good welcome! Our second visit here this year (which says it all !). Such a lovely welcome (flowers, cake and milk), lovely location and lovely owner. Even lovely weather- a real bonus. Annabelle really goes out of her way to make her guests comfortable and she has thought of everything. We would love to come again but availability is very limited (and we aren't getting any younger !!) but this really is a taste of paradise. Jenny and Derek

Dear Annabelle, Where do you start-Lovely welcome,cake,milk and view...view.. view and flowers. Annabelle you were so helpful with everything. Everywhere spotless and well equipped and so tasteful but homely. We have had a lovely relaxing week,walking,visiting places of interest and have had some lovely meals, ie. The Bonchurch Inn and The New Inn at Shalfleet to mention a couple. Thank you once again Annabelle-I'm sure you will be seeing us again. Very best regards Jane and Bob Flowitt PS. 20th-27th August 2016 This is our 4th holiday at Sea Shells by the Beach and it just keeps on giving! Another fantastic week, we totally love this place. We are all fascinated by the changing colour of the sea, love the clear sky at night and the ship watching APP Charlie and Rosie (the dogs) love it here too. The sandy beach at the bottom end of the road was a perfect place for Rosie to learn to swim. Thank you as always for your warm welcome and all of the personal touches- it feels like home and the sea view is to die for! See you in October ! X X X

17th-24th September 2016 We had a brilliant time, Annabelle was fantastic and really helpful.The wonderful view is so relaxing and restful, we are all rested from our peaceful week at Seashells. Would recommend Besty and Spinkys (Ventnor Haven Harbour) and the fish market opposite for the freshest fish ever. The walk along the esplanade to Ventnor is invigorating and beautiful at the same time. Would recommend taking the car to Ventnor if you want to go shopping as a very steep climb up to the town from the esplanade. We would love to come again if we can find a week that is available !! July 2016 Dearest Annabelle From the first time we emailed you , all those months ago, I knew that we had found somewhere special. And I was right!! From our lovely warm welcome from you, to the most fantastic accomodation- you have thought of everything. The sea- well what can one say? We are already planning our trip back. Thanks for the recommendation of eateries. We had the most amazing breakfast at Betsy and Spinkys (get there early !) and a lovely chinese in Ventnor (New China House). We also found The Rex in Ventnor for a special italian meal! Oh and Smuggler's Haven for a wonderful cream tea with spectacular sea views! Thanks for letting us stay in what is well deserved ***** accomodation. Hope to see you again! much love The de St Denis family XXX

July 2016 Dear Annabelle, this is a truly amazing place which is obviously loved and cared for to the highest standards- so many lovely touches that really make this a pleasure to stay in. JUNE 2016 We have had a lovely week in this quite unique property. The view is stunning and Annabelle has thought of everything to make her guests confortable. The weather has been disappointing for June, but we are hoping to be back - maybe this summer. Our two westies have settled in well and enjoyed watching people walk by through the gate! We have the benefit of knowing the Island well, as we had a property here in Bonchurch for four years from 2000-2004. It has been really enjoyable to come back, and to such a property as this - how lucky can you get? Thank you so much, Annabelle, for everything. Jenny and Derek

JULY 2016 Dear Annabelle, We have really enjoyed our stay in your beautiful cottage. The view from the lounge is stunning! Being able to watch the moonlight shift across the sea, or the sun rising in the morning has been fabulous. Thank you for all the thought and the effort you have made in making this the 5 star cottage that it is. You have made us feel so welcome and at home in a real genuine manner. MAY 2016 We have had a wonderful week at 'Sea Shells on the Beach', it is a really beautiful house in a lovely position. We had a great 50th and 80th birthday celebration which was enjoyed by all our family, this is the first time we have all been away together and they now want to make it a yearly event! Thank you Annabelle for the cake and wine and all your hard work, you certainly deserve your five stars! JUNE 2016 Dear Annabelle What a stunning place to stay, a beautiful location, you must be so proud to call this place your home. We have loved out stay on the Isle of White. We have been rock pooling, coastal walking, visiting the monkeys and owls. We enjoyed watching the boats just sailing by lit up on a evening from the window view and with the door open just listening to the waves. We had a few really warm days and although there was some rain we didn't actually get wet. We hope to return in the future to 'Sea Shells on the Beach' Thanks for having us, Tracey, Andy, Jerry and family

MAY 2016 Dear Annabelle, We've had a wonderful time at Sea Shells by the Beach and will definately be recommending it to anyone who expresses an interest in a holiday on the IOW! The house is really lovely and all the extra touches make it a pleasure to spend time in - we spent quite a lot of time just sitting with a cup of tea and enjoying the sea view. May 2016 Firstly we would like to thank Annabelle for making 'Sea Shells by the Beach' such a wonderful, bright and relaxing place to stay - she has put so many extra touches in and thought of everything. We have not even switched on the TV - the view is too lovely to look away from. It has provided a beautiful place for us to relax and unwind - we are all reluctant to leave and we definately hope to return!! Thank you again, Nigel and Gill (Yorkshire)
