We have had a lovely week in this quite unique property. The view is stunning and Annabelle has thought of everything to make her guests confortable. The weather has been disappointing for June, but we are hoping to be back - maybe this summer. Our two westies have settled in well and enjoyed watching people walk by through the gate! We have the benefit of knowing the Island well, as we had a property here in Bonchurch for four years from 2000-2004. It has been really enjoyable to come back, and to such a property as this - how lucky can you get?

Dear Annabelle,
We have really enjoyed our stay in your beautiful cottage. The view from the lounge is stunning! Being able to watch the moonlight shift across the sea, or the sun rising in the morning has been fabulous.
Thank you for all the thought and the effort you have made in making this the 5 star cottage that it is. You have made us feel so welcome and at home in a real genuine manner.
We will definately recommend a stay here to any of our friends + family visiting the IOW.

We have had a wonderful week at 'Sea Shells on the Beach', it is a really beautiful house in a lovely position. We had a great 50th and 80th birthday celebration which was enjoyed by all our family, this is the first time we have all been away together and they now want to make it a yearly event!

Dear Annabelle
What a stunning place to stay, a beautiful location, you must be so proud to call this place your home.
We have loved out stay on the Isle of White. We have been rock pooling, coastal walking, visiting the monkeys and owls. We enjoyed watching the boats just sailing by lit up on a evening from the window view and with the door open just listening to the waves. We had a few really warm days and although there was some rain we didn't actually get wet.
We hope to return in the future to 'Sea Shells on the Beach'

We've had a wonderful time at Sea Shells by the Beach and will definately be recommending it to anyone who expresses an interest in a holiday on the IOW!
The house is really lovely and all the extra touches make it a pleasure to spend time in - we spent quite a lot of time just sitting with a cup of tea and enjoying the sea view.
Thanks for all your efforts in getting it ready for us when we arrived - it was absolutely spotless!

Firstly we would like to thank Annabelle for making 'Sea Shells by the Beach' such a wonderful, bright and relaxing place to stay - she has put so many extra touches in and thought of everything.
We have not even switched on the TV - the view is too lovely to look away from. It has provided a beautiful place for us to relax and unwind - we are all reluctant to leave and we definately hope to return!!

Like everybody else we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 'Sea Shells on the Beach'. The accommodation is truely wonderful. Everything you need is here and the decor is stunning. We have loved gazing out of the windows, listening to the waves and ship spotting. It really has made us feel lazy and chilled out. I.O.W. is certainly our favourite holiday destination as it has lots to offer. We have walked and visited many attractions.

Once again, an absolute haven of peace! Just as stunning in November as the summer -to be able to enjoy the everchanging movement of sea and sky is inspiring and restorative.
Thank you for spoiling us again with little treats and for making sure everything is so beautiful (You do have all the scrabble letters- although rather a lot of "i's" which had a magnetic attraction to me this week!)

Thank you very much for welcoming us back to your beautiful holiday cottage. This is our 3rd visit and Sea Shells by the Beach just gets better and better!
We are all sad to be leaving today!
For an October holiday, we have been completely spoilt, 3 days of glorious "sunbathing" sunshine topped up with seeing the pod of DOLPHINS!
Thank you again for your kindness and care (massively appreciated the hot water bottle-HOTTIE!)
See you again next year and hopefully many more- I think we need to become experts at booking ahead!.....and make bookings early!

Dear Annabelle,
Thank you for the way you went about setting up Sea Shells for our family Christmas. You put in so much time and effort to make the place look homely and comfortable. We had a wonderful time on the Island. We went for a walk round St Catherine's Lighthouse and another through downland near Arreton. Outstanding views on both. My wife and daughters were mad enough to join the people of Ventnor for the dip in the sea in support of the local charity on Boxing Day. The town was packed and the atmosphere was very friendly.
They were reassured by the knowledge they had a beautiful, warm and inviting cottage to come back to to warm up again. It made our stay such a memorable one.

We have just spent a wonderful Christmas at Seashells by the Beach. The setting is wonderful and the property itself is very well equipped. There were six adults in the property and the large living room area comfortably accommodated everyone. The beds are comfortable and the bedrooms are charming. There is lots of storage space even over Christmas when people were hiding presents! We cooked our Christmas lunch without any difficulty, there is a large cooker and a big fridge. A lot of attention has been paid to the decor and the owner made us feel very welcome. We would love to come again and would not hesitate to recommend it.

WOW!!! We have had the most amazing week staying here at “Sea Shells by the Beach”. Everything was just perfect from the beautiful décor to the stunning views. The surrounding walks are lovely from climbing Devils Chimney to strolling into Ventnor. Even taking a dip in the sea was very refreshing!! We are very sad to be leaving but will definitely come back and stay again one day. Thank you for the perfect holiday.

Had great fun this week watching crashing waves, then calm seas and have been enthralled by the moonlight on the water. Accommodation, and warm welcome just perfect. We have thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at ‘Seashells By The Beach’. The cottage is fabulous, beautiful views, beautifully furnished with every item you could ever need. (In fact I will be taking home a list of some of the ones I love!! Thanks for the style tips!!)
We were greeted by Annabelle, a lovely, friendly lady who seemed genuinely concerned as to whether we were having a nice time, which we were (despite the weather!) The lovely carrot cake was delicious – thank you!
Thank you Annabelle for letting us have this smashing cottage for a week. As I said to you we love the Isle of Wight, and I cannot imagine staying anywhere else in the future. ‘A gem of a place with a gem of an owner too!’
